• ZIPPA month for the Heartkids

  Heartkids Australia was launched in August 2006 to create awareness, provide support for families of cardiac children, supply state of the art medical equipment and raise funding for vital research. Their annual Zippa Month in February is to raise funds for the Australia and New Zealand Children’s Heart Research Centre.

• World Cancer Day

  The Cancer Council Western Australia is the leading cancer charity in WA. It is a non-government, community-supported organisation dedicated to reducing the impact of cancer on West Australians. It aims to do this by funding cancer research projects, educating the community about cancer prevention and providing support for cancer patients, their families and loved ones.
