"I kept telling her that she would be alright and we were getting her out. It was the middle of the night in Dales Gorge, Karijini National Park and I was helping to stretcher a lady who had fallen and broken her hip. We had to be careful on the uneven ground and slippery rocks. When we got to the bottom of the cliff the stretcher escort attached the stretcher to the ropes and they were off up the side of the gorge. She thanked us about a thousand times and it felt good to help out."
