Cadet group volunteer and more...

I started youth work when i was in year 8, my friend got me into it, now I'm hooked. I participate in the youth advisory council of the Gosnells region, a volunteer for the Leeuwin Tall Ship Foundation and in the Canning Vale College cadet group. Since then 3 years have passed and a whole lot of youth mentoring and facilitating has been going on, through this it opened up a lot of doors for me I've done youth concerts like Gozzy Rock, festivals like National Youth Week, created a short film, been on like 12 camps last year (and organised one), and also part of the rotary youth program of enrichment (and that not even touching the surface).

These events have got me and my friends huge rewards, not only the great feeling that i'm helping the youth of my area, but youth awards and certificate, recognition from the government and meeting the prime minister. I also turned my life a full 180 and started on a new ambition of a better life than I wanted before, to be a scientist in biological culture and work with tigers to help them survive. Now I'm helping kids in my school to create a movie in the filming unit and helping the school get some recognition in the cadets. This volunteering has me hooked and I'm lovin it.
