Let's not forget our non-human beings!

5 things you can do

1. Have a bake sale and donate the money to your favourite animal organisation (bake cakes with animal themes, of course)

2. Instead of buying your pet from a pet shop, why not go to your local animal shelter and give an orphaned pet a home!

3. Write to politicians about animal welfare issues you care about.

4. Ask an animal shelter if you can help put up posters or send emails around about animals that need homes. You may be instumental in finding the right home for a needy dog or cat.

5. Keep your cat indoors at night - they get into trouble with native wildlife!
