Help the environment
Don't let it go to waste!
5 things you can do
1. Organise a day dedicated to the environment at school, with activities such as a clean-up, recycling campaign and guest speaker.
2. Create a permaculture garden at school - get everyone involved in looking after the garden.
3. Recycle paper, glass, cans, plastic bottles, newspapers - and get everyone in your family and school to join in!
4. Get involved in an environmental campaign that you really care about - sign petitions, paint banners, go to a rally!
5. Use public transport, ride your bike, or even walk! (and get your family to do the same!)
Share your experience
YVolunteer wants to encourage lots of young people to volunteer and help their community. If you are already doing something, tell us about it! We will post your story so that other young people can read it and get inspired.
